Inspiration can be found anywhere, and the inspiration for the kitchen in this stunning custom home built in Upper Elbow Park came from one of our previous projects, Bearspaw Burma. The new homeowner purchased this home while it was at the finishing stage. This allowed us to customized the interior selections, so it worked with their individual style. The custom kitchen featured the most beautiful marble slabs for both the countertops and the backsplash, and the zinc finish hood was handcrafted locally here in Calgary. The details didn't stop there, shaker style millwork beams were incorporated into the great room and the formal dining area, and they were paired perfectly with the crossetted corner casings that were done on all of the passage doors and pass-throughs in the home. The finished on site oak hardwood flooring was finished with a rich dark colour that accented the high gloss black island and railing, and for something unexpected black risers on the staircases leading to the upper and lower level. This luxury home was such a joy to bring together for the family that now calls it home.
