Featuring one of two custom inner-city infills that Veranda proudly built in the community of Hillhurst in 2014. After acquiring a 50' property on this charming street, the lot was subdivided, and two free-standing homes were designed to be harmonious with each other yet unique to the clients' needs and style. This particular home has an overall width of 17 feet; while this may seem like a challenge to some, we were excited to take it on. The final result is a well-desgned home that uses every square inch to its advantage. The main level of the house has a flex room, spacious kitchen, pantry, mudroom, and a family room that opens to the south backyard through oversized patio doors. The upper level has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a walk-in laundry room, and vaulted ceilings. The overall style of the house on the interior has a modern farmhouse feeling with the incorporation of herringbone tile throughout, bright white custom built-on-site cabinetry in the kitchen and bathrooms, and unique lighting that was selected for each space as the design came to fruition. The well-executed design and top of the line materials used in this home is one reason why it is still current today and hasn't aged a bit.
