We initially met these clients when they were looking to do a renovation on an older home in an established community in southwest Calgary. After spending some time listening to what they were after, we presented proposals for both a renovation on the older home they had taken us through as well as a proposal for a new home. After discussing both options at length with them, the new home proposal was an easy pick for them when they saw that for a just a bit more, they could have a dream home that was designed around their needs and wants including all of the features such as in-floor heat and 10' ceilings that an older home will not offer. After a short time searching for the perfect property for them, we were able to secure an amazing lot in Upper Elbow Park that met all of the requirements they were after. We kicked off the design phase with the basics, the specific rooms they wanted to incorporate, and then from there, we made revisions to maximize the space, including a built-in desk area for their children and His and Hers closets in the master retreat. As you will see from the final images, it is a dream home that offers unique spaces throughout, yet there it flows from one room to another seamlessly.
