The third of three amazing homes built side by side in the neighbourhood of Altadore. It was the perfect spot for a family that was relocating from New York City to put down roots in our great city of Calgary with a community that has so much to offer. We started working with these particular clients in the early stages of construction. By coming in at this stage it allowed us to incorporate some of their ideas into the design and floorplan layout. Bringing an east coast vibe with some of the selections that they made, such as the use of grain matched 1/4 sawn white oak cabinetry, a classic black and white design for both the laundry room and main bathroom, and the window-filled home office with the dramatic wall colour and fretwork accent wall. On each floor, and in each room, we helped them create a little bit of NYC in the heart of Altadore, giving them a space that made them feel at home and comfortable in their new surroundings.
