The Laundry Room
The laundry room in our latest custom home in Calgary's North Glenmore Park is truly a sight to behold. One of the standout features of this space is the custom millwork that brings an incredible warmth to the room and perfectly complements the brick flooring. The black-honed granite countertops add a touch of sophistication and tie in seamlessly with the hardware on the millwork.
One of our favourite features of this laundry room is the pullout drying racks that allow our clients to hang an endless amount of laundry. This practical and functional addition to the space makes laundry day a breeze. But beyond its practicality, the pullout drying racks also add a touch of elegance to the room and showcase the attention to detail that went into the design of this custom home.
What we love most about this laundry room is the sense of warmth and comfort it exudes. It is a space that we would be happy to spend a lot of time in, and I am confident that our clients feel the same way. At the end of the day, a well-designed home is not just about aesthetics but also about creating a space that feels like home. And this laundry room certainly achieves that goal.
The Ensuite
When it comes to designing a luxurious en suite bathroom, attention to detail is key, something we pride ourselves on with each home we design & build. One of the most important aspects of any bathroom is the cabinetry. That's why we opted for custom handcrafted, rift-cut white oak cabinetry that was finished on-site. This not only ensures a perfect fit, but also adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the space.
To complement the cabinetry, we chose white oak hardwood flooring that was also finished on-site. This allowed us to create a seamless transition between the different elements of the bathroom while adding warmth and texture to the overall design.
Of course, no bathroom would be complete without beautiful countertops, and we opted for honed marble with mitered edges. This adds a touch of luxury to the space and provides a durable and easy-to-clean surface that will stand the test of time.
When it comes to the shower, we opted for honed marble that matches the countertop with multiple shower heads and body sprays, creating an invigorating and relaxing spa-like experience.
But perhaps the most impressive feature of the bathroom is the stunning solid surface bathtub in front of the window. Its open shelving is the perfect spot to keep epsom salts and towels within easy reach.
Designing a luxurious ensuite bathroom requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality materials, which we do in every home, no matter the client’s budget. By choosing custom handcrafted cabinetry, white oak hardwood flooring, honed marble countertops and shower, and a stunning solid surface bathtub, we created a functional and beautiful space.
