A whole lot of marble, white oak, and some colour!
Wow, what can we say about the bathrooms at Elbow Park Custom 4? How about, amazing, fun, stunning, and just jaw-droppingly beautiful. Let’s take a peek at some of the detailing, large and small we incorporated into these spaces.
The Powder Room
The idea for this vanity design was originally intended for another custom home, but with the stone that was selected it just didn’t work…but when you have great ideas you hold onto them, and we are so glad this isn’t one idea we filed away!
Our wonderfully talented stone fabricator knocked this one out of the park. Waterjet detailing was done to create a fluted detailing on the 12” tall apron for this floating marble masterpiece. Needless to say, we coudln’t stop staring at the beauty, I mean, can you blame us?
The Main Bathroom
11’ ceilings allowed us to make this a very special space for two little ones. With the taller ceiling, we were able to incorporate windows to bring in natural light to both the vanity space and the separate tub/shower and toilet room. And we can’t overlook the 6’ tall mirrors and hanging oversized rattan pendant to really bring attention to the tall ceilings.
Calacatta Oro marble was the perfect stone selection for the vanity & bench-top in the tub/shower unit, with warm veining throughout it is the perfect complement to the calacatta hex flooring and the amazing vintage rug our client sourced for the room.
And last, but certainly not least, we can’t forget to touch base on the custom green vanity and that little detail of the added moulding to the centre drawer fronts.
The Ensuite
Polished marble flooring (heated, of course) laid in a herringbone pattern paired with handmade tile from Spain for the steam shower is a match made in heaven for this primary ensuite at Elbow Park Custom 4.
The freestanding tub is elevated from the rest of the room with a vaulted ceiling above and framed with custom drapery from The Heather Company, giving this area its own special moment that will be enjoyed once the littles are in bed.
The addition of a custom built-in linen cabinet featuring reeded glass, white oak interiors, and plenty of storage creates not only a beautiful focal point but it plays so well off of the custom white oak vanity that is nestled into a niche with a barrel arch detail. Polished nickel accents and a striking marble vanity top complete this one of a kind room.
And a little peek at how our client has perfectly styled her stunning ensuite. We love being able to share images showcasing our attention to detail in the pre-occupancy photos and then images once our clients have moved in and made their house a home.
