Our clients for this home loved Hillhurst's community, and they knew that when it was time to move, they wanted to stay in the same area. Once a new lot was secured for them, the design process started, and the result is a unique family home that gave them every space and feature that they were after. The main level has an incredible custom white kitchen with exquisite millwork detailing. It is open to the family room, which is finished with a stone fireplace surround and cabinetry on each side with patio doors that lead to the outdoor space that takes advantage of the south exposure. Just through the butlers' pantry area is a large formal dining room with wainscotting and ceiling detail that adds great architectural detailing. Not one, but two home offices are located on the main level, along with a large mudroom with doors on the lockers to help conceal the mess. On the upper level of the home, there are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master suite was designed to bring a bit of the mountains to them in Calgary with rustic split face stone and dark oak cabinetry.
