Calgary Custom Build | Montgomery
Located on a ridge lot in Calgary's northwest Montgomery community with views of Calgary Olympic Park and the mountains, this custom home offered not only stunning views of the river valley but an interior to match. Once the floorplan met all of our clients' needs, we started the best phase, the design phase! Knowing this was going to be a long term home for them, we wanted to use classic materials that would not date the interior, and that would wear well over time. The overall design started with beautiful honed slabs of marble for the countertops that we selected for both the kitchen and the master bathroom; from there, the plan took off. A calming pallet of white and grey was executed throughout the home, not only on the custom cabinetry that was designed to their specifications but also with the tiles selected like the split-face marble backsplash in the kitchen and the lineal oversized porcelain tiles in the master bathroom, and even the wool carpet, which was the perfect shade of grey.
This home was proudly featured in Alberta Home, a shelter magazine in 2012.
