This dream home is located in the heart of the bustling community of Altadore, one of Calgary's most desirable inner-city communities. We found the perfect clients for this home while we were at the framing stage, and the timing couldn't have been better. It allowed us to customize the plans to work with their family. We took the 4th bedroom on the upper level and opened it up, creating an amazing loft and homework zone for their young children with a built-in window seat. We were also able to make a few interior selection tweaks like adding in a Wolf Steam Oven to the kitchen, dishwasher drawers to the butlers' pantry, and adding a single detached garage in the back that can be used as another hangout zone when they are skating on the backyard rink or sitting by the covered fireplace during warmer days. The home is finished with materials that are meant to last the test of time. Great attention to detail, large and small, is obvious throughout this home, including the custom ironwork that is showcased on the main level and in the lower level development. All of the cabinetry is built & finished on-site, ensuring the clients received a truly one of a kind and custom home that was handcrafted with the best materials available.
