We had been working with this family for some time before the perfect property was found for their dream home in Lakeview Village, a hidden gem in Calgary's southwest end of the city. Once the lot was secured, we started designing their new home from the ground up. Taking the time to discuss what was on their dream list helped us in creating a floorplan that was designed around all of the needs and wants that they were after. An oversized heated garage and large outdoor living area with a two-sided fireplace and radiant heaters in the soffits were designed just for him. A unique puppy area in the mudroom complete with a storage area for the dog food and leashes was incorporated for the four-legged residents of the home. An elegant and classic master bathroom retreat for her with a make-up desk and finished with marble and polished nickel accents were specifically designed for her. And an adorable bathroom for the littles to share on the upper level. This home is finished with beautiful detailing in each room and gorgeous natural stone countertops that were complemented with the incorporation of greys, blues, and the perfect stain for the white oak woodwork. When you pair all of that together with the meticulously selected lighting and tile, you have the ideal recipe for a dream home!
